News Release—Revision of ISASI By-laws
At the request of the International Council (IC), By-laws Committee Chairman Darren Gaines has completed the task of revising our By-laws that have been in effect since our founding in 1964. The revisions will allow the Society to use modern-day tools and programs for everyday administration at significant monetary savings and will provide guidelines for responsible fiduciary and business practices. After extensive review, the IC has approved the revisions for presentation to the membership and they are posted on our website isasi.org for viewing.

Accordingly, the IC is holding a special election to vote on the adoption of the revision of our By-laws. The open voting period for all eligible members is August 25 through October 25, 2007. The voting process on the revised By-laws will be accomplished electronically on the Vote Net-Voting on Demand website. This website will be available through a link from the ISASI website. The IC urges the membership to read the revisions carefully and take part in the approval process.
